Who is CompassHomes Construction?

It all started in 2012 when my brother and I started a real estate investing company with almost no money. Ironic right!? After lots of trial and error things finally clicked and we started wholesaling properties all over New Jersey. From Cape May to Sussex NJ. We ended up selling over 40+ homes in a very short period time. 

Eventually we decided to fix them up and sell them. During this period we were able to raise private money, hard money, use credit lines, business partners, joint ventures etc… to acquire them and in total we flipped over 40 single family homes in about a 5 year window. Over 80 homes sold! Our lenders loved us!

All of the houses were in different cities and counties all requiring different building codes and requirements. Needless to say we learned A LOT! 

Shortly after we went our separate ways. At this point I had started flipping houses on my own and then the pandemic hit. This meant no open houses and no closings. The world was on lockdown and I still had to pay all the taxes, lender fees and everything else involved in real estate! 

Over the years, people had alway’s reached out for my brother and I to remodel their personal homes but we never had time given how hard we were working flipping our own houses…

So I decided to switch gears, take control and start CompassHomes Construction LLC. 

I wanted to start a company where I can help people, make a living, be able to expand and grow my business at my own pace. Which is extremely fast! 

Once I started, I quickly realized I needed some help, so I brought in my best friend from high school Nick Rago to help me with the heavy load. He didn’t dissapoint! He has worked every single day side by side with me from the beginning and goes above and beyond what he’s asked to do.

We have worked tremendously hard to make sure every client we work for is happy when we finally walk out that door for the last time. 

From the first meeting with our client, choosing the materials, demo day, the entire build process to the final walkthrough, we’re not happy until you’re happy.

We take pride in not only putting out the best product we can but this business is so much more than that.
